DENHAM SPRINGS, LOUISIANA: Tenia Tadlock, 77, died December 31, 2004. She was co-owner of Rebel Sand & Gravel Company, and a member of Live Oak United Methodist Church in Watson. She is survived by her husband, William O'Neal Tadlock; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Lisa Tadlock; 3 grandchildren Neal (Rebecca) Tadlock, Randy Tadlock and Bryan Tadlock; and other relatives and friends. Burial was at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Mark Crosby and Rev. Tommy Bergeron officiating.
LOREAUVILLE, LOUISIANA: Angelo "Tot" Tartamus died February 7, 2006. He was born April 22, 1933 to the late Sam and Monia Mallet Tartamus. He was a longtime employee of Phillips Petroleum, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Eldridge Tartamus; two daughters, Kim Alexander and Tracy Ayers; three grandchildren; three stepdaughters, Jamie Reed, Katona Vitter and Dovie Arcemont; a stepbrother, Donald Girouard of Texas; 8 step-grandchildren; and 2 step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Rosemary Tartamus. Services were held at David Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Wright officiating. Military rites were conducted by VFW Post #1982.
NEW IBERIA, LOUISIANA: Mary Albertine Boutte Tauriac, 71, died July 23, 2005. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, John Archie Tauriac of Patoutville; her children, John Arnold Tauriac and wife Denise of New Orleans, Luke Kernie Tauriac and wife Shelia, Mona Marie Olivier and husband Arnell, Connie Marie Tauriac, and Rhonda Ann Bernard and husband Glenn, all of Grand Marais; a brother, John Leroy Boutte; four sisters, Albertha Olivier, Mary Batiste, Emma Dell Hall, all of Grand Marais, and Peggy Boutte-Harris of Long Beach, CA; an aunt and godmother, Ida Boutte; 6 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Alosia Olivier Boutte; and five brothers, Murphy, Melvin, Milton, Dalton and Lawrence Boutte. Services were held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Entombment was at St. Nicholas Mausoleum in Patoutville with arrangements by Evangeline Funeral Home.
SLIDELL, LOUISIANA: Delores Ann Taylor, 67, died September 14, 2004. She was a homemaker, and was the widow of George G. Taylor. She was the mother of eight children. She was born to Ruth Stanley and the late Carl Conard. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services were held at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Slidell. A private family interment was held with arrangements by Honaker Funeral Home.
BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA: Gladys Washington Taylor, 82, died January 26, 2005. She is survived by a brother, Van Washington, Jr. (Marion); a daughter-in-law, Geraldine Taylor; three brothers-in-law, Robert Williams, Albert Taylor (Joyce), and Johnny Taylor (Velade); 2 grandsons; 5 nieces; 2 nephews; and other relatives and friends. SULPHUR, LOUISIANA: Icie Taylor, 84, died April 5, 2010 at a local care center. She was born September 19, 1925, and was a native of Washington, LA. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, and her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters; and four brothers. Interment was at Big Woods Cemetery under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
BOGALUSA, LOUISIANA: Rev. McArthur Taylor, 39, died August 19, 1998. Interment was at the Bogalusa Cemetery under the direction of Crain and Sons Funeral Home.
WATERPROOF, LOUISIANA: Mildred Taylor died September 5, 2001 at the Vicksburg Hospital. She was born January 18, 1920 to Fred Lawrence and Bell Hamlin Smith. She was of the Methodist faith. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Taylor; two daughters, Verona Taylor of Ruston, and Angela Stephens of Vicksburg, MS; a brother, Donald Smith of Shreveport; two sisters, Maxine Johnson of Shreveport, and Thelma Holley of Pine Bluff, AR, 4 grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Virgie Tillman; and five brothers, Edward Smith, Lawrence Smith, Carl Smith, Bob Smith, and Herman Smith. Interment was at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Natchez, MS with arrangements by Young's Funeral Home.
MONROE, LOUISIANA: Stanley W. Tempalski, 81, died June 21, 2005. He was a WWII Navy veteran, and attended Lakeshore Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Anita L. Tempalski; daughter, Sandra Wall; granddaughters, Laura Wall and Kimberly Thomas; sister, Della and husband Mel Delposen; two nieces and two nephews. NEW IBERIA, LOUISIANA: Shuble George "Scooby-Doo" Tenney, 29, died of injuries received in a automobile accident on March 17, 2007. He enjoyed mechanics, music, and traveling. He is survived by a brother, Preston Tenney, Sr. and wife Tina; his sisters, Edie Boudreaux and husband Brad, Sr. and Siana Romero and husband Tracy; a niece, Shana Simon; his nephews, Preston Tenney, Jr., Brad Boudreaux, Jr., T.J. He was preceded in death by his father, Tilman Tenney; his mother, Hermaine Hayward "Angel" Girard; and a special friend, Heather Deville. GOLDEN MEADOW, LOUISIANA: Francis Dantin Terrebonne,
85, died October 18, 2000. She attended Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church, and was a member of the church Altar Society, Golden Meadow Senior Citizens, and F.C.E. Golden Meadow Home Demonstration Club. She was the wife of Jesty J. Terrebonne; the mother of Betty Ledet of Thibodaux; grandmother of Johnny Lee of Ellijay, Ga., Beth Ledet of Cut Off, Brad Ledet of Plaquemine and Larry Ledet II of Thibodaux; sister of Mancy Dantin of Chauvin and Eva Dantin of Cut Off. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dumiel and Josephine Lee Dantin; daughter, Barbara T. Lee; brothers, Roual, Jack, Thomas, Alcide and Randolph Dantin; and sisters, Clemence Stout, Antoinette Boudreaux and Alcidia Orgeron. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, followed by burial at the church cemetery. WINNSBORO, Louisiana: Lois Stephens Terror, 91, passed away January 13, 2005. She was born July 12, 1913 in Mississippi to Luther Wilson and Mary Leona Parker Stephens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Terror, two brothers and a sister. She was a homemaker and belonged to the Bellwood Country Club in Natchez, Mississippi. She was a member of Vidalia United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. Among the survivors are a brother, Oliver J. Stephens of Lake Placid, Fl.; and nine nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the New Winnsboro Cemetery with arrangements by Mulhearn Funeral Home.
LEESVILLE, LOUISIANA: Betty Sue Terry, 72, died June 17, 2009. She was born January 2, 1937. She is survived by a son, Joe Gibbs of Leesville; two daughters, Deborah Peavy of New Llano, LA and Billie Lovato of Colorado Springs, CO; three brothers, Jerry Long of Montgomery, TX, Cliff Long of Austin, TX, and Anthony "Jack" Long of Willis, TX; a sister, Nora Long of Leesville; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lorene Long; two brothers, Speedy Long and Cotton Long; and four sisters, Mary Hill, Ida Brumlon, Joann Boatcallie and Evelyn Barker. BASTROP, LOUISIANA: Leo F. Terzia, 84, died on March 28, 2005. He was on October 28, 1920 to Leo F. Terzia Sr. and Olivia "Totsy" Bain Terzia. He was a retired lumberman. He was owner and President of Terzia Lumber and Hardware in Bastrop. He was Past President of the Louisiana Building Material Dealers Association, and was one of the founders of Paul Bunyan Building Suppliers, which later became Allied Building Stores. He was a Navy veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Eleanor Gandy Terzia; two children, Leo "Buddy" Terzia III and his wife Jennifer of Ruston and Cynthia Henderson and her husband Ben of Canton, Ga.; and two grandchildren, Laura Terzia Bankston and her husband Matt of Fort Worth, Texas and Greg Terzia of Ruston. Services were held at Grace Episcopal Church of Monroe with Fr. Andy Powell officiating. Interment was at Riverview Cemetery with arrangements by Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe, LA.
ERATH, LOUISIANA: Esther Landry Theall, 92, died September 11, 2007. She was born October 8, 1914 to the late Duclom and Elia Vincent Landry. HOUMA, LOUISIANA: Eula Eve Toups Theriot, 83, passed away December 25, 2002. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Hayward "Buck" and Earline Theriot Sr. of Houma; four daughters, Elaine Monnier, Janice Vice, Deborah Roper and Rene Ghirardi, all of Houma; one brother, Eddie Toups of Bayou Blue; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. NEW IBERIA, LOUISIANA: Rita Marie Theriot, 102, died July 12, 1997. She was a homemaker. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Romuald and Corinne Segura Theriot; a sister, Elodie Theriot Orgeron; and seven brothers, Ferdinand, Ferness, George, Joseph "Lut", Leonce, Octave and Rene Theriot. OPELOUSAS, LOUISIANA: Mercedes "Dee-Dee" Broussard Thomas, 61, died on January 19, 2005. She attended Holy Ghost Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Marshall J. ANGIE, LOUISIANA: Classie Mary Mingo Thompson, 80, died January 20, 2002. She was preceded in death by her loving parents; her devoted husband; a daughter, Eula Mae Thompson; five grandchildren; and two sons-in-law. She departed this life in a car crash along with two of her daughters, Bettie Segura and Edna L. Thompson; and a daughter-in-law, Elinder J. Thompson. Survivors include four daughters, Mary L. BOGALUSA, LOUISIANA: Edna Lucille Thompson, 49, died January 20, 2002 in a car accident which also claimed the lives of her mother, Classie Mary Thompson, her sister, Betty Segura, and her sister-in-law, Elinda Thompson. Among the survivors are a son, Michael Thompson; two daughters, Lesley Thompson and Chandra (Neal) Thompson Weary; five grandchildren, Damion, Joshua, Chiara, Chalandra, and Logan, all of Bogalusa; four sisters, Mary Lee Greely of Angie, Annie Thompson of San Bernardino, CA, Augustine (Eddie) Anderson of New York, NY, and Clarrisa (Archie) McGowan of Angie; four brothers, Randy Thompson and Homer (Lisa) Thompson of New Orleans, and Lenord Thompson and Willie Thompson; a godson, Ardale McGowan, all of Angie; and special friends, Bessie Cyrus and Margaret Pam, both of Bogalusa. NOBLE, LOUISIANA: William Bob Thompson, 78, died August 1, 2004. He was a retiree of Penrod Drilling Company. Survivors include his brothers, Frank Thompson of Bloomberg, Texas, and Kenneth Thompson of Waskom, Texas; a sister, Lillie Blackwood of Cullman, Ala.; a daughter, Joanne Bordelon of Houma; a son, Bobby Thompson of Rayne; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. BASTROP, LOUISIANA: Laron Thurman, 77, died July 3, 2006. He was born April 17, 1929 to Collie and Bonnie Hackney Thurman. He retired from the International Paper Mill in Bastrop, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA: Carl Vincent Tibbetts, 80, died October 4, 2007. He was born October 19, 1926. He worked in broadcasting sales at several radio and television stations. While at KTAL, he was the host of a children's program, appearing as a clown called "Mr. T." He was active in community theatre, including the Port Players, the Gilbert and Sullivan Society, and the Gaslight Players. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Myers of Baton Rouge and Dorcas Marie Kirspel of Shreveport; and 3 grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Zenon; two daughters, Rochelle M. Zenon and Camie T. Zenon; a brother, Paul Zenon; three sisters, Ella Louise Hypolite, Hatie Voorhies, and Brenda Zenon; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Zenon; and his father, Robert Dewey Zenon, Sr. Services were held at Notre Dame Catholic Church. Interment was at Queen of Peace Cemetery by Golden Meadows Funeral Home.
AMITE, LOUISIANA: Annie S. Zimmer, 80, died April 7, 2005. She attended St. Helena Catholic Church in Amite. She was the wife of the late Arthur N. Zimmer Jr.; mother of Arthur N. Zimmer III, Jerry H. Zimmer, Kenny J. Zimmer, Karen Z. Giglio, Tina A. Seeber and Randy M. Zimmer; daughter of the late Marie Lorenz and Salvador Scramuzza; sister of Gloria Lama, Joyce Dawson, Marlene Ragusa and the late Nick Scramuzza. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Interment was at Garden of Memories under the direction of Leitz-Egan Funeral Home.
BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA: Ruby Rogillio Zumo, 86, died November 27, 2006. She retired from Winn-Dixie. She attended St. Pius X Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies' Altar Society. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Charlie Peevy, Jr. of Prairieville, and Rita and Ray Aymond of Central; 5 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Zumo; her parents, James "Jim" F. Rogillio and Eliza C. Peterson Rogillio; 6 sisters, Mildred Wesley, Elma Wesley, Lucille Woodard, Eunice Truax, Mary Ellen Arnold and Leona Michelli; 3 brothers, Frank, Arthur and George Rogillio; and a great-granddaughter, Megan Tagert. Services were held at St. Pius X Catholic Church with the Rev. Alec Sheldon officiating. Interment was at Roselawn Memorial Park by Rabenhorst Funeral Home.
