Survivors include his wife, Marie Adams; a daughter, Shirley Gier of Boulder, CO; two brothers, Dwain Adams of Topeka, KS, and Everette Adams of Las Vegas; three sisters, Naomi Adams of St. Joseph, MO, Genevieve Engle of Abilene, KS, and Wanda Lance of Watertown, WI; 2 grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews. Interment was at Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Striker Funeral Home.

MEETEETSE, WYOMING: Lillian Josie Stewart Albert, 93, died September 10, 2003. She was born November 11, 1909 in Burlington to Marshall Robinson and Ida Orlena Lewis Stewart. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and sewing. She attended Pioneer Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Gary Albert, Gayla Biwer, Anita Pape, Frank Albert, and Ida Aas; a brother, Frank Stewart; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. BUFFALO, WYOMING: Grace Angeloff, 78, died September 30, 2008. She was born May 27, 1930 to James and Ruth Strong. She and her husband previously owned Gambles Hardware Store. She had also worked as a teller for the First National Bank of Buffalo, and at a bakery. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and flowers. She is survived by her husband, Pete Angeloff; two daughters, Susan Angeloff of Custer, SD, and Gail Morris (Tony) of Buffalo; a son, Nicholas Angeloff (Angela) of Sheridan; a brother, Chuck Strong of Forsyth; a sister, Donna Jones of Forsyth; and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and three brothers. Interment was at Willow Grove Cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home.

LARAMIE, WYOMING: Frances B. Apodaca, 98, died February 21, 2008. She was born August 10, 1909 in Albin. She was a seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, the outdoors, and watching The Price is Right and the evening news on TV. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Bartlett of Laramie; a daughter-in-law, Arlene Swain; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 38 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert O. Apodaca; and a son, Charles E. Swain. Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery.

BIG HORN, WYOMING: Madonna Wilson Buell Beeson, 75, died September 25, 2006. She was born June 27, 1931 in Sheridan to Lawrence and Loretta Baker Wilson. She was an LPN, and worked at a maternity home and the Wyoming Girls' School; she had also worked as an LPN in Ohio. She is survived by a daughter, Cathy Zigmund of Lexington, KY; three sons, Rick Buell of Gillette, Dale Beeson of Vancouver, WA, and Roy Beeson of Grand Junction, CO; a brother, Riley Wilson of Harrison, MT; a half-sister, Andrea Johnson of Zillah, WA; a step-sister, Wyoma Schurch of Roland, OK; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was special friend of Donald W. King. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Walt Buell and Dwight Beeson; and a step-sister, Ruth Irwin. Interment was at Mount Hope Cemetery by Kane Funeral Home.

CODY, WYOMING: Ruth Taggart Blair, 89, died August 21, 2007. She was born September 19, 1917 to Lloyd and Louise Taggart. She was a graduate of the Chicago Art Institute, and during her career worked as lead designer for Thomas Molesworth, an interior decorator, co-proprietor of Buffalo Bill Village, and eventually Quin Blair Enterprises. She worked with the development of the Western Design Conference in Cody, and was a former member of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Quin Blair; a son Frederick "Ted" (Judie) Blair; 3 grandsons; a great-grandson; a brother, Scott Taggart; four sisters, Mary Louise Greever, Harriet Burtus, Becky Watkins and Ray Rita Keif; her nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jesse "Mac" Taggart, Lloyd Taggart, and Charles Taggart. Services were held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery.

CODY, WYOMING: Elmer E. Blakesley, 86, died January 18, 2002. He was born September 19, 1915 to Floyd and Helen Roberts Blakesley. He worked in the oilfields, and was employed by Marathon Oil Company for over 20 years. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He attended the Presbyterian Church, and was active with the Senior Citizens and Rolling Meals. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine "Jerry" Emerson Blakesley; a son, Ronald Blakesley of Orofino, ID; a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Mike Thiel of Powell; 6 grandchildren; and 8 grandchildren. Interment of cremains was at Riverside Cemetery. Arrangements were handled by Ballard Funeral Home.

LUSK, WYOMING: Juanita Pauline "Polly" Boner, 80, died December 28, 2009. She was born March 19, 1929. She held a Ph.D. in psychology, and was a counselor at the Wyoming Women's Center. She was instrumental in organizing the Helpmate Crisis Center, and was a board member for over 25 years.She and her husband operated the Boner Ranch north of Lusk. She was active with Job's Daughters, the Order of the Eastern Star, the 4-H Club and the Lusk Does Drove #64. She was a charter member of the County Cow Belles. She attended the Congregational Church, where she served on the board of trustees. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ed Boner;three daughters, Jessie Walduck (Philip) of Lusk, Charlene Boner of Cheyenne, and Karen Boner of Elk Grove, CA; a brother, Richard Nichols of Missouri; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Edgar Jordan "Jordy" Boner; a grandson, Dustin Lauer; a brother, Frank Nichols; and a nephew, Ed Honea. Services were held at at the Congregational Church. Interment was at Lusk Cemetery by Pier Funeral Home.

She formerly worked for the Shoshone Gaming Commission, Social Services of the Shoshone Tribe, and Big Wind Hall. She attended St. Helen's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, yard work, and working with horses and cattle. She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. He was employed by Dick Jones Trucking for 35 years, and was also a longtime farmer. He formerly worked in the oilfields. He enjoyed traveling, dancing, playing cards, fishing, and wintering in Arizona. He is survived by his wife of over 70 years, Betty B. Steele Brandt; a daughter, Judy Bennett of Powell; a sister, Cecil Garrison of Klamath Falls, OR; 8 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. LANDER, WYOMING: James Calvert died December 18, 2009. He was born April 5, 1929 to Fred and Marian Cleveland Calvert. He built fences, and also worked for U.S. Steel and the Lander sales barn. He sheared sheep, and worked on the Calvert family ranch. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and rock hunting. He was the husband of Lucinda Laue Calvert, and the couple had five children, Rose Barrett, Carolyn Apadaca, Ron Calvert, Carl Calvert, and Christina Calvert, all of Lander. Other survivors include his brothers, Bill Calvert and Loren Calvert, both of Lander, and Don and Dorthy Calvert of Hanna; a sister-in-law, Pat Calvert; a brother-in-law, Claude Hitshew; 5 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren, including one they raised. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Andy Calvert; a sister, Esther Hitshew; a granddaughter, Stacy Apadaca; and two sisters-in-law, Pat Calvert and Viola Calvert. He formerly owned the State Line Club and the Mustang Club, and was a bartender at the VFW, the Moose Lodge, Tody's, and the Centennial Club. He had lived in Cheyenne since 1940. Survivors include a daughter, Roxane Cisco of Cheyenne; a brother, William; four sisters, Lavonne Wininger, Roberta Long, Maxine McKenzie, and Bernice Morrison; and 2 grandchildren. CHEYENNE, WYOMING: Kathryn Coulson, 88, died March 7, 1999. She was born January 13, 1911 in Dickinson, ND to Roland and Ada Eyer. She worked in sales at Fowler's and Jean's Carriage House. She attended the United Methodist Church of Worland, and was a member of the Daughters of the Nile. Survivors include two daughters, Yvonne McLane of Cheyenne, and Sydney Stoneking of Littleton, CO; a son, Wes Coulson of Cheyenne; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. She and her husband owned a Standard service station, and later ran a KOA campground. She formerly worked at City Drug, and retired as a cook at Lucerne School. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Earl "Tex" Donaldson; five children, Linda Burns of Cody, Russell (Chris) Donaldson of Longmont, CO, Elaine (Mike) Long of Douglas, Dr. Terry (Veronica) Donaldson of Rock Springs, and Stella Harris of Dubois, WY; and her special friends, Steve, Lori and Erin Shay. She was raised in Warren, OH, and had resided in Casper since 1983. She retired from Converse County Bank, and served as a U.S. Marine Corps drill sergeant in the 1950s. Survivors include her husband, Donald Lee Fenster; two daughters, Nancy Jo Grady of Cheyenne, and Cynthia Youtz of Show Low, AZ; six sons, Donald J. Fenster of Gillette, Michael Fenster of Buffalo, Richard Fenster of Alcova, Bernard Fenster of Glenrock, and Daniel Fenster and Timothy Fenster, both of Evansville; two sisters, Eva Flaviani and Catherine Lachowski, both of Warren, OH; three brothers, Tony Rothermel of Circle City, AZ, Jim Rothermel of Santa Fe, NM, and George Rothermel of Jacksonville, NC; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed camping and fishing. RIVERTON, WYOMING: Ellen Katherine Westman Irons, 87, died December 18, 2007. She was born August 7, 1920 to Peter and Anna Euphrosyne Oden Westman. She was a former cook and maid at a dude ranch. She was of the Nazarene faith and was a Sunday School teacher for 37 years; she received recognition for teaching for eight years without an absence. She was a missionary president, secretary of the church board, and was a steward and president of NYI. She was a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union and Concerned Women of America. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, camping, reading, fishing and visiting the sick and elderly. She is survived by a brother, Paul Robert Westman (Boneta) of Lander; two sisters, Martha Jankovsky (Jim) of Arlington, and Gertrude Caudill of Independence, MO; and her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene L. Irons; her parents, Peter and Anna Westman; three brothers, John Westman, Fred Westman, and George Westman; a sister, Mary Howard; and an infant sibling. Services were held at the Church of the Nazarene. Interment was at Mountain View Cemetery by Davis Funeral Home.

CASPER, WYOMING: Walter Clay Jensen, 82, died September 30, 2007. He was born June 5, 1925 to Henry Jensen and Bernice Snyder. He retired from Conoco Oil. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and served as an engineer building bridges. He enjoyed woodworking, leather crafts, and cooking Thanksgiving meals. He is survived by three daughters, Monica Vega of Casper, Debra Lucero of Ogden, UT, and Tresa Moralez of Mesa, AZ; two sons, Clayton Jensen of Casper, and Bruce Jensen of Evansville; two brothers; three sisters; his nieces and nephews; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was a Catholic, and served as a lay minister at St. Stephen's Mission. She was on the Parish Council, the Altar and Rosary Society, St. Anne's Sodality, and the Tekakwitha Conference. She enjoyed needlework, beading gardening, bird watching and going to pow-wows. She is survived by a son, Bernard "Larry" Makeshine (Vincentina); six daughters, Antoinette Harris, Irene Denny (Darrell), Nora Tabaho, Charlene Quilt, Gordeena Whiting, and Mary Lou Nephi; two brothers, Noble Little and Patton Brown (Rose Marie); two sisters, JoAnn Little and Pauline Lincoln (Leroy); 19 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, George and Raymond. Interment of cremains was at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery under the direction of Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
